The subscription remains legally binding and will be automatically renewed for another 12 months if it is not cancelled with an advance notice period of 3 months prior to its expiry.

The journal covers themes from chemistry / synthesis, screening, pharmacology and toxicology as well as the broad field of clinical trials in all their phases. All studies are focussed on the prospect of new therapeutic drugs. In addition, there are reports on drugs already marketed, if new scientific findings are available.

The special section ”Biotechnology in Drug Research” presents articles on the development of, and findings and experience with therapeutics obtained by biotechnological methods. The latest diagnostic techniques in this field are discussed, too.

The journal is based on reviews and original articles from all over the world and from scientists in academia as well as industry.
